A Holistic Approach to wellness
We use needle and non-needle therapies at our Asheville clinic for patients of all ages to remedy imbalances, solve problems, and manage symptoms.
Both children and adults shine brightest when they can express themselves fully and authentically in alignment with their unique life path… and we believe that when the individual thrives, the whole “family” flourishes, whether it’s your immediate family, your chosen family, your work family, or your community. Services
Needle and non-needle therapies provide benefits for children, teens, and adults of all ages.
Children
We’ve lost count how many times we’ve heard parents say “my child would never do acupuncture needles”. Believe it or not, kids actually enjoy the needles or “taps” as we like to call them. We have a special way of working with kids. We’ve found that building trust & rapport is key to successful sessions that promote confidence and autonomy.
-
Did you know that kids haven’t yet formed all of the acupuncture points that adults have? Yet kids typically respond faster to treatment than adults do. This is why kids sessions take less time. We generally focus on only 1-3 acupuncture points during a session so that we don’t overtreat your child and hinder their progress.
Teenagers
In addition to treating specific problems or conditions, we view our role as healthcare providers is to also help your teen connect to themselves and to tune-out the distractions… and maybe to drop the occasional knowledge seed.
-
We’ve worked with enough teens to know it’s best to meet them where they are and give them time and space to open up. Knowing all that teens are dealing with, we really try to make this experience as stress-free as possible.
If your teen is apprehensive about trying needles, we usually start with our kids “taps” and slowly work up to our teen needles.
Adults
Adults, we’ve got you… and what a long, strange trip it’s been! We’re here to celebrate you and all the layers you’ve collected along your journey. You’re the best friend, the parent, the partner, the elder, the badass, the bomb.com — you’re all the things. We’re here to help bring you back to yourself.
-
We know your time is valuable with all the things, so we’ve created different scheduling options to support you for whatever you need at the time.
Juggling too many appointments? We’ve got a parent/child combo option so you can rest with acupuncture needles while your child also gets a treatment. Need a relaxing date night with your partner? Schedule a couples session so both of you can enjoy acupuncture together. Wanna come in just once a month to escape the chaos? Join the Wellness Club!
Adulting is hard, figuring out how to schedule self-care shouldn’t be.
